about

Serpentile Delusions was an 8 song album released in 1989 by Vitalecco, an early version of Worwyk, comprised of Tom Vitacco and John Vitale on guitars and vocals. The name Vitalecco was a combination of both their last names. Technically this is not the first Worwyk album but just an album two friends put together at the time. Tom continued on with Worwyk as a solo project after the release of this album.

Audio quality is not the greatest but at the time it was the best we could do with a 4-track cassette recorder and drum machine. The guitars were recorded with Marshall Lead 100 Mosfet amps and a Digitech Rack FX unit. The drums and bass were programmed using a Roland R5 drum machine.

All guitars and vocals were preformed by Tom Vitacco and John Vitale except where noted below. The liner notes from the old cassette did not include who played each solo or wrote the riffs but from what we recall both Tom and John contributed equal parts to this album.

Guest musicians:

Cliff Bedore - guitar solo on Cerebral Wastelands (1:32).
Trish Higgins - wrote and recorded the keyboard sections on Cerebral Wastelands.

Cerebral Wastelands was recorded at Mark Bedore's house (Cliff's brother) using his recording studio. All other songs were recorded in the spare bedroom of Tom's apartment at the time.
